Desert Kids - Pen Pal Club

Growing up I had many pen pals and loved receiving letters, postcards in the mail from friends all over the world. With all the technology we have, the art of sending a note to brighten someone's day has been lost. I want to bring this back! I want my kids to learn the fun of sending a card with their own drawings (toddlers) and my boys to sit down and write a letter. We will also be able to take a trip to the post office.

 

*Note: Please let us know if you would like to exchange letters in Spanish.

**Parents please have your child send letters back as soon as they receive them. You will provide them with the stamps, papers and supplies to participate in program. We plan to extend the program through the entire summer months of June, July and early August.
